While Apple is set to release iOS 26 this fall, the tech giant discharged a valuable iPhone security measures update in July. Apple discharged iOS 18.6 on July 29, and while the update doesn’t shift much on your wrist, it’s full of about two dozen bug and security measures fixes. One patch in Financial is for a flaw that could be actively employed.
You can download iOS 18.6 by going to Settings, then tapping Undiversified. Next, take a software system update, then tap Update Now and work the prompts on your screen.

This update patches a zero-day flaw and other issues
According to Apple’s security measures notes, iOS 18.6 fixes about two dozen security issues and bugs. But one issue in WebKit, Apple’s in-house matured cyberspace web browser locomotive engine used in the campaign, could via media your organization and is being caterpillar tracked as CVE—2025—6558.
